The twin/double room was recently refurbished and reasonably large with fireplace. Absolutely perfect and excellent location in walking distance to shops etc was a plus. And it was also so close to the first ferry to Vancouver as well as airpirt.

Loved our stay at this quaint hotel with an English bar. The location was particularly good, close to the ferry terminal in Swartz Bay. The rooms were large with very comfy beds. The staff were consistently courteous.

We had a fantastic stay at the Waddling Dog! From the warm welcome at check-in to the gorgeous sunset walk with their charming hotel dog John, everything was perfect. The on-site restaurant and bar were great for a casual night of pool and nachos, and the included breakfast was a delicious way to start the day. The location was convenient for us and the price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel.
